Allister MacNye attended Loch Lomond Educational Institute and upon graduation was accepted into the Starfleet Marine Corp Academy. His major concentration of study was in Tactical Recovery with a minor emphasis in Ship Securement Techniques. His internship was as the Liaison to Admiral Gregor Harden, Starfleet Special Operations. He speaks Federation Standard fluently and can communicate in basic terms in Cardassian, Romulan, Klingon, Tholian, and Andorian.

Allister "Merlin" MacNye is six feet tall, 200 lbs., with pale blue eyes and dark sandy blond hair. He is broad-shouldered, and has a pale, mildly-freckled complexion. MacNye has no allergies, major injuries, or disabilities. His blood type is A-positive.
Personality:
MacNye has a strong dislike for Contientious Objectors, Oppressors, Cruelty and Torture. His hobbies include Demolitions & Explosives Technology, Escape Techniques, Magic/Illusion. His favorite color is Blood Red Crimson (the color of artillery, he is quick to point out), and his weapon of choice a SpecOps Modified Starfleet Special Issue Phaser Rifle Type 3b. He has stated that his favorite book is "The Anarchist's Cookbook." MacNye longs to command a campaign for the history books, ssure a lasting peace and to marry and have a family. Merlin MacNye has shown, on many occasions, a seeming ability to appear and disappear at will. A person may be talking to MacNye and turn away for a moment, only finding that when he turns back, Allister is vanished. This is a skill and talent that MacNye has spent years working on, and it has helped him evade enemies throughout his campaigns. On the USS Banshee, Allister briefly became involved with Nimue Bierce, but that budding relationship quickly ended when she was abruptly reassigned. He tried to maintain contact with her, but failed to do so. He has not entered into or even considered any other romantic relationships since.

Allister's parents are Guinevere (MacDougal) and Robert MacNye. He is an only child and has no children of his own.
